Bible Text: Isaiah 53:7, 1 Chronicles 27:25-31, Jeremiah 18:1-9 | Speaker: Joshua Jacob | Series: Saturday Bible Teaching 2021 | The next in the series of monthly Bible Teaching meetings. In this timely message, Joshua Jacob (Bicester); reflecting upon the last 15 months of lockdown, takes up the subject of silence. From Jeremiah 18, Joshua considers the ‘Silent Sermons of God’ marking the object lessons from the potters house that teach vast swathes of truth. Then, in considering 1 Chronicles 27, Joshua considers the ‘Silent Service of the Saints’ as he marks the 12 men mentioned loyal to David, who had a work to do. In closing, the speaker touches on Isaiah 53:7, to take a fresh look at the ‘Silent Sufferings of the Saviour’.

Through this message, Joshua brings out many practical lessons for believers today and their personal walk with God, as well as their functioning in the local assembly.
