Bible Text: John 4:19-24 | Speaker: Norman Mellish | Series: Annual Ministry Conference 2020 | In the first session of the annual ministry conference, Norman Mellish (Stoke on Trent) takes up the vital subject of worship. Reading from John 4, Norman marks that the ‘Father seeketh such [true worshippers] to worship him’. He notes that whilst the worship of the Samaritans was based on tradition and the worship of the Jews was legalistic, true worship must be done; on the grounds of redemption, in Spirit and in Truth. Norman then takes up several Old Testament passages to further explore the truth and pattern of worship. In particular, Norman draws the viewers attention to the Tabernacle and the offerings of worship that took place therein.
