Testament
Bible Text: Isaiah 6:1-7, John 20:24-29, Acts 26:13-18 | Speaker: David Montgomery | Series: Gospel Campaign – Spon End 2019 | Concluding the meeting, the speaker takes up the subject of ‘Eye-witness Testament’. The speaker considers three eye-witness accounts of people who saw the LORD God in Scripture. Firstly, reading from Isaiah, the speaker reflects upon the Holiness of God contrasted to the sin of man by noting one who felt completely ‘undone’ in the presence of God. Secondly, pondering the question ‘who can forgive sins, but God alone?’, the speaker moves to consider a second eye witness account found in John 20, of the disciples who saw the risen Lord Jesus Christ; that which proved that sin had been fully and finally dealt with. Finally, the speaker considers one, a man who persecuted Christians, whose life was transformed when he saw the risen Lord Jesus Christ.
