Tabernacle Treasures – The Vail
Bible Text: Numbers 3:29, 31, Numbers 4:5, Exodus 26:31-33 | Speaker: David Dalton | Series: Morning Meditations | In the last of the studies looking at the Kohathite responsibility in the tabernacle, the speaker here meditates upon ‘the vail’. The speaker marks how contrasted to ‘the Gate’ and ‘the Door’, ‘the vail’; with the unique addition of the cherubims, would serve as a restriction on who could enter into the presence of God. However, the speaker notes how the Lord Jesus Christ is the one by whom ‘the vail’; albeit that in the temple, was rent in twain upon His resurrection, providing believers; as Holy priests, an access into the very presence of God.
