The speaker marks how contrasted to ‘the Gate’ and ‘the Door’, ‘the vail’; with the unique addition of the cherubims, would serve as a restriction on who could enter into the presence of God. However, the speaker notes how the Lord Jesus Christ is the one by whom ‘the vail’; albeit that in the temple, was rent in twain upon His resurrection, providing believers; as Holy priests, an access into the very presence of God.
