Bible Text: Mark 8:36-37 | Speaker: Andrew Dalton | Series: Gospel Campaign – Spon End 2019 | In the second part of the meeting, the speaker preaches solemnly under the heading ‘the salvation of your souls’. Considering the two questions asked by the Lord Jesus Christ in Mark 8:36-37, the speaker emphasises that the salvation of your souls is vital. He marks the folly of the world whereby men and women place so much emphasis on the transient and temporary body, yet forget about their eternal soul. Noting that the Lord Jesus Christ preached more about Hell than Heaven, the speaker warns the listener that ‘it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God’. However, the speaker highlights that whilst the salvation of your souls is vital, it is also possible, as a result of divine love and grace in the sending forth of the Lord Jesus Christ to be the Saviour of the World.
