Speaker:
Passage: Matthew 7:13-14, Luke 13:22-24
Service Type:

Bible Text: Matthew 7:13-14, Luke 13:22-24 | Speaker: Andrew Dalton | Series: Gospel Campaign – Spon End 2019 | Continuing the meeting, the speaker considers the instruction of the Lord Jesus Christ to ‘enter ye in at the strait gate’ as recorded in Matthew 7. The speaker notes three great contrasts in this verse; a gate that is strait contrasted to a gate that is wide, a way that is narrow contrasted to a way that is broad and a destination that leads to life contrasted to a destination that leads to destruction. The speaker emphasises the necessity for Men and Women to get right with God by marking how in sin, we are born onto this broad way that leadeth to destruction. Whilst highlighting how the Lord Jesus Christ came to make a provision for the problem of sin, the speaker also references Luke 13 and warns the listener that there is a solemn day coming where Men and Women shall seek to enter in but will not be able to, because they have left it too late.
